the Eastern Prom Trail at the picnic tables behind the
building at East End Beach .

10K
Trail to Ale Training Run with Mark Goettel.
This will be a fun way to train for the “Portland
Trails 10K—Trail
to Ale” on September 16 th ! Also great for anyone who
wants to do a group run on Portland 's scenic Eastern Prom
and Back Cove Trails. Meet on the Eastern Prom Trail near
East End Beach to set off on the 10K course.

Lois Winter, Conservation Biologist, U.S. Fish and Wildlife
Service, Gulf of Maine Program. Meet at the end
of Overset Street , off Curtis Road .

Explore
the Eastern Cemetery with Christina White,
founder of Spirits Alive, an organization dedicated
to the preservation and beautification of the historic
Eastern Cemetery . Discover this "museum without walls" and
visit the interment sites of notable area residents while
learning about conservation efforts here. Meet at the Congress
Street entrance.
