24. Martin's Point 0.25 miles

At the Martin's Point Health Center a short footpath along the shore provides spectacular views of Portland , the harbor and the islands of Casco Bay . The paved trail offers a moderate slope and several picnic tables. Access to most of the views is available on the level trail, but continuing around the point involves a steep grade. Visit the World War II USS Reuben James memorial.

Trail access: Parking is available at the Martin's Point Health Center lot on Route 1, just south of the Portland/Falmouth border. The lot is busy during business hours.
