Treasurer's Report 2009
Portland Trails' 2009 budget was divided
into 2 parts: Operating and School Grounds. Large
trail construction projects in 2009 included
trail improvements at the Fore River Sanctuary,
the Fort Allen Trail, and the extension of
the trail network on the Presumpscot River
upriver from Route 302.
Operating Budget
The operating
budget pays for trail maintenance and minor
construction projects, staff salaries, educational
and outreach initiatives, and other standard
costs of running this small nonprofit.
