Labeled (2) on map to left. Built in partnership with the City of Portland and Trust for Public Land, this multi-use, paved trail traverses the heart of revitalized commercial and residential neighborhoods in Bayside and East Bayside. It offers convenient access to local businesses, like the numerous breweries, coffee shops and stores in East Bayside, and has multiple plazas for gathering. This trail also offers a safe walking route for neighbors to connect to grocery stores and schools. It also intersects the Back Cove and Eastern Prom Trails. New to the Bayside neighborhood are two connector trails–the Bayside Trail Connector, which runs along Anderson St behind Urban Farm Fermentory and Akido of Maine, and the Gould St pocket park, a small green space at the top of a very traversed hill between Washington Ave and East Bayside.
