Labeled #4 on the map, the Marion Street Connector links the Washington Ave. commercial district with Fort Sumner Park, North Street, and the East End neighborhood. This trail connects the end of Marion St. with Sheridan St. above with granite steps and connects to the Fort Sumner Park Steps. This connector trail has been in the Portland Trails system for a long time – it was one of the first trail projects our seasoned Trails Manager, Jaime Parker, worked on! The scenic stairway is made from all salvaged materials and includes a bike ramp for adventurous riders.
