At the Martin’s Point Health Center a short footpath along the shore provides spectacular views of Portland, the harbor, and the islands of Casco Bay. The paved trail offers a moderate slope and several picnic tables. Access to most of the views is available on the level trail, but continuing around the point involves a steep grade. The trail also features a World War II USS Reuben James memorial.
