Bailey O’Brien is Portland Trails’ Communications & Outreach Coordinator. After graduating from the University of Maine in 2014 with a degree in English, Bailey has spent the past five years working on communications projects for a variety of businesses and nonprofits, including The Telling Room and WinterKids. She considers herself a writer above all else and is deeply interested in the power of interview-based storytelling. In fall 2018, she graduated from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies with a certificate in radio and podcast production. When she’s not in the office, you can find her hiking, kayaking, walking around with her microphone, or enjoying nature out on the trails!
In addition to helping plan and manage Portland Trails’ events, Bailey is the person behind the organization’s social media posts, newsletters, and all other external communications.
