Trail Description
Baxter Woods is a 30-acre nature preserve offering beautiful towering pines and quiet, shaded trails suitable for walking, running, and biking. The park is open from dawn to dusk. In the winter, Baxter Woods is a lovely place to enjoy cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The trails connect to Evergreen Cemetery across Stevens Avenue.
A large informational sign marks the start of the main trail off of Stevens Avenue, although there is a secondary entrance on Forest Avenue. Due to large tree roots on some of the side trails, those looking for a flatter trail may want to stick to the main trail, which runs from Stevens to Forest.

Accessibility Information
The main trail between Stevens Ave. and Forest Ave. is wide and flat with a crushed gravel surface. Side trails have an uneven surface due to rocks and roots.
