Trail Description

Created to celebrate Portland Trails’ 20th anniversary in 2011, the Forest City Trail is a 10-mile route across the best of Portland. Stretching between the Stroudwater River Trail and the Presumpscot River Preserve, the trail comprises nine trails, three school campuses, several parks, an historic cemetery, and two waterfalls. The trail is blazed with white blazes — look for them on trail posts, trees, telephone poles, and sidewalks. You can begin at either end of the trail.
